Ask Gigi In ChatGPT And Claude

You can meet Gigi inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. This is what happens to what you share there.

What Gigi Receives. When you ask for a gift idea, the assistant sends Gigi only:

the occasion
who the person is to you, such as a friend or a parent
a price range
what brings them joy, their style, and the feeling you’d like them to have
whether they’re an adult or a child, an age band and a pronoun
if you choose, a few words about them, up to 1,200 characters

The assistant is asked never to send a name, address, email or phone number.

Why. Only to choose one gift idea for that person, and to show it to you with its price and a link to the shop that sells it.

What We Keep. Nothing you share. Gigi uses it for that one answer and lets it go. It isn’t saved, isn’t added to an account, and isn’t used to train anything. We keep only a daily count of how many ideas were asked for and how many times someone pressed This Helped, with no words or names attached, for 120 days. Our web host keeps standard server records for security: the time of a visit and the internet address it came from, never what was typed.

Who Else Sees It. We share none of it. The assistant you’re using handles your conversation under its own privacy policy: OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude. If you open a shop link, that shop’s own policy applies from then on.

Your Choices. Nothing you share is kept, so there’s nothing stored to see or delete. You can leave out the few words about the person, or stop using Gigi in the assistant at any time. Questions are welcome at gigi@askgigi.io.
